I found CrossFit in 2004, things were a lot different then.
One barbell lift that was part of early CrossFit programming, the bench press, has been largely abandoned and or ignored by many CF boxes.
Though there are exceptions (I am glad someone is paying attention) many athletes are missing out on the benefits of this excellent exercise.
It is one of the best upper body strength-building exercises you can find. In fact, if you do it right your whole body gets stronger.
